Sustainable Energy at Bingaman

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond words—it's action. In 2014, our Kreamer facility took a significant step towards sustainable energy by investing in a 187.88 kWp solar array. This solar array, located on the south-facing roof area of Sheds 4 and 5, came online in January 2015 and now contributes approximately 25% of the electricity needed to manufacture our Strips and Dimensions, as well as operate our Planer.

But our dedication to sustainable energy doesn't stop there. For decades, our Kreamer facility has utilized clean-burning sawdust to heat our kilns and buildings, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Our state-of-the-art recovery system ensures that nothing goes to waste, reflecting our unwavering commitment to sustainability in every aspect of our operations.
