Starting as a general store owner, Bingaman ventured into selling Appalachian hardwoods to anthracite coal mining companies in neighboring counties. These hardwoods were essential for shoring up mine shafts and quickly gained recognition for their quality and durability.

Evolution into a Full-Time Business

Bingaman's lumber sales soon grew into a full-time business as he began supplying cabinet, flooring, and furniture manufacturers with wood sourced from local sawmills. With a keen eye for quality and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Bingaman established a reputation for excellence in the industry.

Today, our operations span multiple locations, including a main lumber yard in Kreamer, PA, a second yard in Clarendon, PA, and sawmills in Nicktown, Mill Hall, and St. Marys, PA. Situated in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania, our facilities benefit from the region's renowned hardwoods, known worldwide for their color and texture.
